About Quba Welfare Foundation
We are a UK charity based in Wakefield. Our volunteers deliver hot meals, clean water, free medical care and new masjids to communities that need them, close to home and around the world.
Help for people in the hardest situations
Our mission is to help people in challenging situations around the world. We support orphans and widows, run healthcare projects, and tackle unemployment by teaching skills and supporting education. We bring clean water where it is scarce and build masjids where they are needed, because caring for people in need is at the heart of everything we do.
Every family with what they need to live well
We want every family we work with to have food on the table, clean water close to home, care when they are ill, and a place to learn and to pray. We work towards it one village, one well and one family at a time.
How we work
Food
Hot meals, food parcels, winter support and Qurbani for families who don’t have enough.
Water
Water points and hand pumps that bring clean water close to home, for people and their animals.
Health
Free medical camps with doctors, check-ups and medicine for families who can’t pay for care.
Masjids and learning
Building masjids, and supporting orphans and widows with food, schooling and care.
